[wpcol_1half_end id=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb class=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb style=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb]Apr\u00e8s avoir fait des \u00e9tudes agricoles au milieu des ann\u00e9es 70, Gilles Bruni<\/strong> a repris des \u00e9tudes \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Rennes 2 o\u00f9 il obtint un doctorat d\u2019Arts Plastiques en 1997. Parall\u00e8lement, il a initi\u00e9 un champ d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation commun avec Marc Babarit, \u00e0 ciel ouvert, sous l\u2019appellation d\u2019\u00ab installation paysag\u00e8re \u00bb en France, puis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger (Allemagne, USA, Canada, Danemark, Italie, Autriche, Venezuela), principalement lors de r\u00e9sidences ou de commandes.<\/p>\n Outre cette collaboration singuli\u00e8re, Gilles Bruni prolonge aujourd\u2019hui ce travail contextuel en m\u00ealant son questionnement du paysage \u00e0 la dimension \u00e9cologique du lieu au sens large, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire int\u00e9grant les gens vivant l\u00e0 et leur histoire, incluant de nombreuses collaborations et partenariats. [\/wpcol_1half_end][:en][wpcol_1half id=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb class=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb style=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb]Interventions in the public or social space always involve some negotiation and dialogue, sometimes taking into consideration the space of the inhabitant\u2026 another way of contributing to shaping the landscape, to question places\u2026 but also to look at ways we manage the spaces in our life with a critical eye\u2026<\/p>\n [\/wpcol_1half]<\/p>\n [wpcol_1half_end id=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb class=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb style=\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0\u00bb]After following agricultural studies in the middle of the 70s, Gilles Bruni<\/strong> experiments painting before starting again studies at the University of Rennes 2 in 1986. He obtains a doctorate of Visual arts in 1997. In parallel he abandons its personal practice for a common field of experimentation with Marc Babarit, in the open air, under name \u201cLandscape Installation\u201d. Gilles Bruni with or without Marc Babarit conducted its field activities in France like abroad (Germany, the USA, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Venezuela), mainly for residences and orders.<\/span><\/p>\n Apart from this singular collaboration, Gilles Bruni continues this contextual work, crossing its questionnement around the landscape with that of the ecology of the place, his inhabitants and their history, privileging collaborations and partnerships.
