La nature \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat sauvage est d\u00e9j\u00e0 loin de nous. Les chevreuils, les marmottes et les bernaches qui visitent ces lieux fa\u00e7onn\u00e9s par l\u2019homme le font tout au mieux \u00e0 titre honorifique. Et lorsque nous p\u00e9n\u00e9trons dans ces lieux maintenant sacralis\u00e9s, de quelle mani\u00e8re pouvons-nous augmenter l\u2019\u00e9tat de paix qui y r\u00e8gne?<\/p>\n<p><em>Visible \/ Invisible<\/em>\u00a0est un exercice de n\u00e9gociation entre pr\u00e9sence et absence, entre ce qui appara\u00eet et ce qui dispara\u00eet. Il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019effacer ce qui est pr\u00e9sent, mais plut\u00f4t de permettre \u00e0 toutes les pr\u00e9sences de coexister dans une m\u00eame zone, dans un m\u00eame lieu.<\/p>\n<p>Les spectateurs porteront une combinaison bleue ou blanche, selon le lieu, et seront invit\u00e9s \u00e0 aller se gambader dans le paysage. He has been an artist in residence at the Banff Centre (British Columbia), the Sculpture Space (New York City), EMMEDIA (Calgary), A.I.R.\u00a0Vallauris (France), the Sydney College of the Arts (Australia) and, more recently, at the Everglades National Park (Florida) in collaboration with Valerie LeBlanc. Far from us is the wilderness of the past. The deer, groundhogs and geese that visit our open spaces are only attributed honorary status at best. And when we enter this now-constructed, sacred ground, what can we offer to enhance the peace and neutrality it lays out for our refreshment?<\/p>\n<p><em>Visible \/ Invisible<\/em> invites spect-actors to take part in exercises of how to leave less devastating traces when moving through a green space. Volunteers will be invited to wear a blue or white body suit while frolicking through areas of the Parc \u00c9cologique du Mill\u00e9naire at Universit\u00e9 de Moncton.<\/p>\n<p>Using color-keying software, the passage of the figures will appear as DIY ripples of invisibility.
